The 7 Secrets to Becoming Luckier in Your Career

I was recently interviewed by Monster.com for their radio show, asking me for career tips, and advice for helping people to find a job. Monster is a global online employment solution for people seeking jobs and the employers who need great people.

Coincidentally, or not, earlier this week I was invited to give a series of motivational talks to long term unemployed individuals living in a deprived part of London. The objective is to help them find suitable employment. This is a pilot project which will almost certainly be rolled out further if and when it is proven to be a successful approach.

Anyway this is what Monster had to say about my interview with them.

“Having any luck with your job search?” It’s a question we’ve all heard, but what does luck really have to do with it? According to Dr. Stephen Simpson, author of Get Lucky Now! The 7 Secrets of Lucky People, a lot. He’s helped professional athletes and high stakes poker players increase their odds and in today’s podcast, he shares those 7 secrets with Monster.”

So listen on, and I welcome your comments.
