In Part 1 of this blog I suggested we are not alone, but connected to the 8 billion other people who we share our planet with. People either get this concept, or they don’t. Even if they get just a little bit it is often enough to catapult their life to at least the next level.
Anjelika had a great first day in Amsterdam on her European Tour debut. She easily made the cut, despite being ill on Day 2. Coincidentally she and Miles Collins, another tour player, both find one of my comments helpful when playing golf.
Maybe anxiety strikes you from the moment your alarm goes off in the morning. Perhaps it hits when your boss tells you that he needs to speak with you in his office before the end of the day. With training, it’s possible to come out on the other side of anxiety.
Mindfulness is one of the techniques included in my NLP coaching programs. Whatever you wish to call it, you will have likely experienced it before, and you know that it was a great feeling. At such times, it feels as if life is easy, and all you have to do is push at open doors.
I’ve spent so many years confronting barriers that my mind no longer recognises them, and jumps straight to solutions. So having to think about and identify common barriers to success was an illuminating exercise. These are the ones I came up with.
All of us at some point have to step out of our comfort zone. My general advice to anybody is to accept nothing without exploring all other possible options.
We will all face adversity at some point in our lives. How we choose to respond to it will have a major affect on our happiness, and the happiness of the people who surround us.
