The Power of Attraction
It does not matter whether you believe in the law of attraction or not. It does not matter whether you call it visualisation or self intention. The only thing that matters is that you use it.
Do not take my word for it. Two of the most successful books ever published are Think and Grow Rich, and The Secret. They have sold in many millions. Their overarching message is that thoughts become things.
Nor is the law of attraction complicated. I am going to give you a very simple tip and will be very surprised if you do not find it helpful. Think of something important that you would like to accomplish within the next month. Then imagine that you have hit your target. How good does that feel? What are the emotions that are rushing through your blood? When you have visualised this success in as much detail as possible it is time for the next step.
Prepare an email to yourself and in the subject line put in the date of your success, which will be a day within the next month. Any goals longer than a month away are too distant to really engage your emotions.
Now write a note to yourself from this future date describing how it feels now that you have accomplished your goals, and add as much detail as possible. Then press the send button. You can copy me if you wish. Now all you have to do is follow your daily processes, sit back, be patient and wait. Let me know how you get on.
So why does the law of attraction work for so many people? Nobody knows, although there are lots of theories. My opinion for what it is worth is that the answer will live somewhere in quantum theory. It is the most exciting area of science and one day may well unite the conflicting theories of relativity and quantum mechanics.
One person who does use the law of attraction successfully is my client Chris Moorman. He is the number one poker player in the world. Last week he came third in a major tournament in Spain, and won over $270,000. Nice work if you can get it!
