One of the main reasons why humans are the dominant mammal species is that we are more socially organised than any other species. The world is a tough place for a lone wolf, lion, or person.
Living a life supported by understanding and loving relationships has shown to improve not only the quality but also the lifespan. Developing these relationships is a natural instinct as it becomes a matter of survival.
We forge complex relationships with elders, peers, and youngsters. We raise children ourselves, and often keep a single partner for many years. We balance the conflicting demands of our own needs with the needs of others. We sacrifice our time, money, and resources for others. Why do we do this?
When we follow our genetic programming, when we listen to our DNA, we are in tune. In the Zone. In the best place to get lucky, and find the open doors that make good things happen.
