I’m always fascinated by the patients that survive against the odds, and prove their doctors wrong. These recoveries are known as spontaneous remissions. What is it that makes these people so special?

This question has fascinated me ever since I was a medical student. I have been studying the research and I’m beginning to find a few possible clues worthy of further consideration.
